RSPCA Suffolk & Ipswich in the news

Hi,  My Name is Buddy and I am an 18 month old male Jack Russell cross. I am a cheeky little chap, full of character and loved by staff and volunteers alike but sadly I have not yet found my new home.

I am a bouncy happy boy and love to be on the go. Going on walks is great and spending time off lead in a secure area is soooo much fun; running very fast and playing with my toys.
Iím both toy and treat driven so teaching me should be funÖÖ..Iíve learnt a lot since being at the RSPCA Centre. Finding a new home with someone who enjoys being active and who has the time to teach and socialise me would be super.
A family with teenage children and no other pets is what Iím looking for as I will be all you need!

Are you looking for a new Buddy like me?

We will be holding our annual "Christmas Fair" on Sat 28th November from 10am to 2pm at Holbrook Village Hall, Holbrook.   We hope you can join us!  Please see our Events Page for more info about the Fair.

If you click on the above picture and shop at the RSPCA online Shop, a percentage of your purchase will come to help local animals in need.

We are an independent and mainly self-funding Branch of the RSPCA, a separately registered Charity from the national RSPCA. In 2014, over 95% of our work, helping animals in need in our local area, was paid for by our own fundraising activities, and legacies. We receive no money from the Government or the National Lottery.

Do you know about our Safe Haven Scheme?   Our Safe Haven scheme is a way for you to support us and help run our Re-Homing Centre and Clinic. Click here for more info. A BIG thank you to our Safe Haven supporters.

Low Cost Microchipping

It is always distressing when a pet goes missing but microchipping is one way you can ensure that if your pet is found, you can be easily re-united with your furry companion. OUR REDUCED MICROCHIPPING OFFER CONTINUES
£10 per animal or two animals for £15. A real bargain!  Please contact the Centre on 0300 999 7321 to make an appt.  We are unable to microchip animals under 12 weeks of age

Seasonal Information

Fireworks Frighten Animals - click here for more Info..

Hedgehogs - Please Check bonfires very carefully for sleeping hedgehogs before lighting. If possible the entire pile should be re-sited before being lit, if not possible, use broom handles to lift from the base of the pile, and shine torches, looking and listening carefully for any signs of our spikey friends!
