RSPCA Suffolk & Ipswich in the news

Buck is a lively young chap who came into us as he was too much for the other dogs in the home. He enjoys his walks and likes to run.

Buck is a very anxious boy who is showing signs of separation problems. We are therefore looking for an experienced owner who is home most of the time and willing to work with him giving Buck both training and socialising.

Buck can live with older children but not cats or small furries.  He can be a little OTT with other dogs when off lead but can live with a suitably matched canine friend.

He is a sweet boy who will do great in the right home.

We are an independent and mainly self-funding Branch of the RSPCA, a separately registered Charity from the national RSPCA. In 2014, over 95% of our work, helping animals in need in our local area, was paid for by our own fundraising activities, and legacies. We receive no money from the Government or the National Lottery.

Do you know about our Safe Haven Scheme?   Our Safe Haven scheme is a way for you to support us and help run our Re-Homing Centre and Clinic. Click here for more info. A BIG thank you to our Safe Haven supporters.

Highlighting the importance of neutering your pet

World Spay Day is a perfect reminder to book your kitten/cat in to be spayed to protect her from getting pregnant. This can be done at four months old. You may have heard that cats should be allowed to have a litter of kittens before being spayed, but this isn’t true. As soon as she’s spayed - as well as vaccinated and microchipped - your cat will be all set to enjoy the things cats love doing - going outside and climbing trees!

Low Cost Microchipping

It is always distressing when a pet goes missing but microchipping is one way you can ensure that if your pet is found, you can be easily re-united with your furry companion. OUR REDUCED MICROCHIPPING OFFER CONTINUES
£10 per animal or two animals for £15. A real bargain!  Please contact the Centre on 0300 999 7321 to make an appt.  We are unable to microchip animals under 12 weeks of age
