RSPCA Suffolk & Ipswich in the news

*A few words from Honey's fosterer*

Honey is an engaging, lively and obedient girl.  She knows and responds to basic commands – Sit, Down, No, Here, knows her name and comes when called.

Walking her is fun – we take her out for two main walks and one short one every day - and she is not troubled by traffic.  On meeting other dogs, she exhibits a friendly curiosity and loves to play with them.

She travels easily in a car – on the back seat or in the boot of an estate, and is happy to jump onto a bus.  We haven’t yet tried her on a train.

Honey has a wide vocabulary, which she employs to quite hilarious effect to let us know when she thinks she’s missing out on something.

She is very affectionate and likes to cuddle up with us in front of the T.V.   By tossing her toys up in the air and rolling on her back, she demonstrates how delighted she is to be in a home environment.

At our Christmas Boogie on Saturday 13th Dec - we raised over £700!   A big thank you to Melayna Yeo for organising the event, to "The Invited" for their generosity and to everyone who came along, supported the event and made it such a success.

We are an independent and mainly self-funding Branch of the RSPCA, a separately registered Charity from the national RSPCA. In 2013, over 95% of our work, helping animals in need in our local area, was paid for by our own fundraising activities, and legacies. We receive no money from the Government or the National Lottery.

Do you know about our Safe Haven Scheme?   Our Safe Haven scheme is a way for you to support us and help run our Re-Homing Centre and Clinic. Click here for more info. A BIG thank you to our Safe Haven supporters.

Low Cost Microchipping

It is always distressing when a pet goes missing but microchipping is one way you can ensure that if your pet is found, you can be easily re-united with your furry companion. OUR REDUCED MICROCHIPPING OFFER CONTINUES
£10 per animal or two animals for £15. A real bargain!  Please contact the Centre on 0300 999 7321 to make an appt.  We are unable to microchip animals under 12 weeks of age
