Could YOU be a Volunteer?
One Area where we desperately need more helpers - House to House Collecting - NEWS JUST IN....In 2010 Pat Monk, our House to House Co-ordinator, and her team of collectors have raised £12,620.28. Although a great total, Pat is disappointed as she points out that it is some £2,400 down on the 2009 total. Pat says "...we are in desperate need of house to house collectors in all areas of the Branch.." and adds that "...the 2010 total is down not because of the economic climate but because over 40 volunteers have stopped helping with collecting this year, which has had a major effect on the total ." Collectors can collect in their street, estate or road they don't have to collect in larger areas if they would prefer not to. If you would like to help with House to House Collecting please call Pat Monk on 01394 284 605
Areas where help is currently needed - at our Ipswich Charity Shop - please call the shop on 01473 253420
We are always in need of more pairs of hands to help to set up and run stalls at our events - could you help put up a gazebo or two, or run a stall or help on the BBQ? Please contact Miss Fox as above.....
THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF WAYS YOU COULD HELP US.... At our Animal Centre, Clinic, Shops or at one of our many Fundraising Events If you have a clean driving licence, we need someone to drive our RSPCA van to the charity shop in Ipswich once a week, to deliver goods, remove rubbish, and occasionally collect items. |
